But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud:

AI is not intelligent.

It’s a well-tuned statistical model trained on existing data. That’s it. LLMs like ChatGPT are simply a subset of Machine Learning, and ML has been around for decades. These models don’t understand — they predict the most likely next word. They don’t know your process. They just remix what they’ve been fed.

So what happens when the data is junk?

The answer is simple: Shit in, shit out.

The Enshitification Has Already Begun

If you’re not familiar with the concept of enshitification, it’s the progressive decay of systems due to misaligned incentives. And it’s already hitting AI. Models are being trained on AI-generated data. The results are getting dumber. Everything sounds the same. Less signal. More noise.
